22 oz beer was poured into a snifter.
Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to a small layer. It is a dark mahogany color with vision of tiny bubbles coming up the side of the glass.Super nice lacing as the beer was drank.
Smell: Caramel, toffee, fruity, floral, and citrus.
Taste: Citrus, earthy, resiny hops with caramel and toffee in the rear. All followed by lingering bitterness. Some tea like characteristics from the dry hops too.
Mouthfeel: Silky smooth, lingering tingly bitterness, a little boozy, low carbonation, and medium bodied.
Overall: A good barleywine. You can definitely notice the 100 IBU's.
Serving type: bottle
