Pours beautiful light orange in color, very clear, with a fluffy white head. Aroma is excellent - spicy and playful. I can sense some clove notes, ginger, may be a touch of pepper. At first sip taste was a bit of a letdown, but I think as the beer warmed up a bit, it opened up and taste is much more interesting and pleasant now. It is spicy with some dryness. There is a slightly bitter aftertaste, but it does not linger. There is a warming alcohol effect. The body is not full, but noticeable. A bit of sweetness lingers on the lips. As I'm writing this review, I keep going back for a sip again and again. Ginger is becoming more pronounced as I drink this ale. Very enjoyable. Pleasant mouthfeel.

This beer pours a cloudy caramel color with a small white head that fades pretty quickly. Probably the least lively tripel I've head. On the nose you get strong notes of caramel malt, belgian candi sugar, some of that bubblegum belgian ester, and some ginger. The taste is where the ginger and spices become more pronounced, very good. Interesting twist on the Belgian Tripel, I'd like to get another bottle and age for a bit more time to see if it improves carbonation.

A: Pours a hazy medium to dark golden yellow in color with some light amounts of gentle visible carbonation and some orange and copper highlights. The beer has a little more than a finger tall dense foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium thin patch of moderate sized bubbles, a very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer, and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of pale and toasted malts with some light to moderate aromas of candi sugar and some honey sweetness. There are some spicy notes of ginger and white pepper along with some light notes of light fruits - maybe apple and orange peel.

T: Upfront there are some light to moderate flavors of pale malts with some notes of toasted malts and some honey sweetness. After that, there are some notes of candi sugar with some candied ginger and white pepper spiciness. There are some light fruit notes including orange peel and apple. Light amounts of bitterness in the finish which fades rather quickly along with some light alcohol notes.

M: Medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness and just a touch of alcohol warming in the finish.

O: Not as complex as I have come to expect for the style and probably not one of the strongest examples either - also, the alcohol is not as well hidden as I would like. The addition of ginger is interesting but not sure I would grab another one of these.

Pours a light fizzy head that covers the beer but not by much, fades fairly quickly, semi clear golden orange like color.

Nose is candy like, orange peel candy, light candied ginger, hint of chlorine, minerals, light esters and typical phenols, hint of booze, actually the chlorine comes out more the more I nose it, a light wheat like aroma, and some light amber malts.

Taste starts with biscuit and toasty malts, reddish amber malts, a little sweet but not much, candy flavors with light caramel and toffee, light candy syrup, and candied orange peel, as well as light candied ginger. Light bitterness and rind flavors, little gritty and earthy with a light earthy spicy but slightly rancid oily hops, a touch of booze with light phenols and esters again, luckily no chlorine this time, but a hint of minerals. Finish is semi sweet and sticky, a weird rind bitterness and earthiness, long lingering sweet syrupy flavors and candied orange peel and ginger.

Mouth is med bodied, decent enough small bubbled carb, some warming booze.

Overall meh, very light on tripel flavors, esters, phenols, spices, although there was plenty of sweet syrupy candy, orange peel, ginger, citrus etc, and terrible chlorine aroma. again like a lot of Rock Art beers it's nothing very special and kinda meh.

Figured it would be a nice night to try this golden tripple from Rock Art.

A- pours an orange copper body that has massive carbonation along with a fluffy white head that latches to the sides of my stemless tulip from the alchemist. Very sticky lacing that is analogous to white frosting

S- A little fruity with a slight Belgian presence that could be slightly stronger. Very dry on the scent

T- Good save! The tropical aspects are meshed well with a stronger Belgian presence. Very lively and uplifting with a smooth yet dry flavor. Good flavors for a tripel

M- smooth and good coating flavor

O- really enjoyed as a tripel that while it may not burst with flavors, there is still a taste profile that works out great. I'll buy more next time im in VT

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.

A real nice rocky white head, creamy a little bit but some big shampoo bubbles. Sits on a nearly golden orange amber body. Opaque but a little dull too, looking for some glow but not seeing it. A good column of middle carbonation, rising slowly in the middle.

Nose is a bit muted. Yeast punch, doughy malts and classic tripel sweetness. Ginger on this, not really. Some small honey in there. But nothing offensive.

Wet mouthfeel and pale ale body. Quite hoppy strangely too, almost like a hoppy IPA of sorts. No rich malt sweetness or creamy sugars. Mid palate is watery and fleeting to get anything of any flavor. Aftertaste provides a little bit of what is on the nose, but it's very fleeting on the swallow. Hop angle comes forth but with little density behind it, and really throws me off.

Drinkable, but compared to other tripels this is not really giving it justice. Weak.

Pours deep golden with head. Smells pleasant ginger yeasty. Above average mouthfeel and carbonation. Ginger snap, bold ginger flavour, with yeast and caramel cushioning the finish. Good flavour though not overtly drinkable or complex. Not really the style but worth a try if you like ginger.
