On tap at Yakima taproom, part of a flight. Golden pour with smal white foamy head. A bit milder than the norm for the NW, but pretty solid throughout.

Big foam-up in the narrow tulip. Long time settling down to drinkability. First sip is pretty unrewarding. Peculiar aroma of dried kelp and straw.
Sweet and harsh at the same time. Orange marmalade. There is even a plasticky hint that detracts even further. More bitter than it needs to be. Cardboard and spoiled orange juice with a dash of cinnamon.
From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Haggen Food in Burlington. Ick.

I rarely give the same score across the board but this beer was very 3.5 to me. I have to agree with the user rating over the Bros score. Very average IPA. On draft, poured a yellowish-orange color with bright white head. Minimal head. Not much aroma. Thin viscosity, almost watery. Less than avg carbonation, decent lace. Hoppy like most WC IPAs but unfortunately nothing special. I would drink again if someone was buying but wouldn't go out of my way for another.

This is a solid IPA, the smell is short but the taste is long. Will not be disappointed buying this one. Short of Great but a solid Yakima Brew. The have the all the hops just down the street so My bet is soon this will be tweaked to be one of the best in the State of Washington for sure.

Fresh bomber into a teku glass.
Pours a very dark copper / almost red color with a very big foamy white head. The smell has a lot of tropical hop notes to it but its not in your face sweet either. Very very nice. Oh wow, the taste is terrific! Hops are very prominent (but not dominating!) but so are the malts. It's like a blend of tropical fruits and piney hops. Makes a sort of tobacco character that i really dig. Real easy to drink but the only drawback is the mouthfeel is a bit light.
Overall Yakima Craft Brewing killed the taste here. grab a bottle asap!
