A- Almost no head, it fights to stay in the glass but finally succumbs to the beer. Coppery- amber body, extremely clear.

S- smells malty sweet, almost like homebrew. light hop character.

T- Slight soap, malt sweetness and hop bitterness. I think I made a similar beer when I first began brewing. Kind of weak taste, I can taste a slight oxidation and an almost cidery flavor which is a defect for sure.

M- Thin, watery.

D- Not very drinkable, sorry this one is a drain pour (my first on this site!)

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a pint. It has a light amber hue, slightly cloudy with a small white airy head. It has a faint floral hop smell. It has a citrus forward taste with a light hop finish. Has a lightly dry finish and a crisp mouth feel. Overall a decent brew.

pours a clear dark amber with a medium size off-white head, and good lacing.

smell is of caramel, spice, a touch of lemon, and a touch of roasted malt.

taste is smooth, grain, malt, and caramel, ends a little weak and grainy.

overall an average amber ale, nothing to spectacular.

Somewhat musty on top of the sweetish malt. Herbal, leafy hop flavors and not much bitterness. Parsley, beets, and a hint of fruity liqueur. Actually quite sweet as you sip.

Attractive frothy head on the dark amber brew in the tall Timmermans goblet. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel. This wears out its welcome fast. Somehow cloying yet twiggy and a little dirty.

From the 22 oz bottle from Haggen's Market in Burlington.

Poured from 22oz bomber into a pint glass.

Appearance: hazy orange hue; looks a heck of a lot more like an IPA than an amber. Head is huge, pouring something like 3 thick fingers of frothy tan foam. Not bad, but not stylistically appropriate. Ambers should be amber, right?

Smell: caramel malt notes interspersed with a spicy funk. Amber saison, maybe? Not bad in its own right, but also not really what I'm looking for in an amber.

Taste: lightly funky brew with notes of bread and caramel malts. Not at all to style, but as a mild funky farmhouse-esque beer -- it's not too bad.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a big, round carbonation. Pretty damn creamy. I like it.

Overall: could this beer be infected? It doesn't taste bad, or sour, but it is a bit funky and way more carbonated than you would expect. In any case, its sight and smell are nothing special, but it's anti-style taste is pretty interesting, as long as you like that sort of thing.

Cloudy amber pour from 12oz. can. Slight head. I've had this on tap, 22oz. bottle and now the can. This brewery is hit and miss. Sometimes there's a metallic taste to their brews. Metal taste wasn't here THIS TIME, hence the 3.25 rating.

On tap at Yakima taproom, part of a flight. Right in the wheelhouse for an amber, sweetness balances a minor hop presence. Nothing else to make it standout, good, not great

This is a different amber than the Amber Ale.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean medium amber color with just the slightest touch of haziness. The beer had fluffy, slightly off-white head that dissipated quickly and just traces of lacing.

A very nice, slightly biscuity aroma greets the nose. There is just a touch of hops in the scent. The flavor is similar to the aroma, with there being a little bit more sweetness than the scent had led me to believe.

The body was just a little fuller than average for the style. Drinkability was very nice. If you're in the mood for a smooth, easy drinking beer for an afternoon or evening with friends, this beer won't kill your palate or fry your head. Worth trying when you see it.

22 oz. bottle from Yoke's Kennewick poured into Delirium Tremens tulip 2.2.5.10, $5.49 for the bottle.

Faint tan 1 1/2 finger head, medium dissipation, minimal lacing. Light amber clear body, no visible carbonation except after tilting glass to drink. The nose is stone fruit (crystal malt?), followed by caramel, a very small flowery hop presence. Taste is dominated by the caramel malt, had a hard time deciphering any hop presence, a little bit of flowery hops after substantial warming. Fairly flat mouthfeel. Drinkable, but at this price and taste profile, I won't be having this again, Too many good NW ambers at a much better price to buy this again. Pass.
