Dark lager with red highlights, small tan head with poor retention. Tea and lager aroma. Deep roasted malt taste, light tea, hops, and slightly sour. Little tacky mouthcoating and no bite to speak of.
Some interesting flavors are eventually drowned out to a roasted malt taste. Fairly light on flavor and easy drinking but nothing I'd really want more than a pint of.

Poured into 16oz glass on tap at 34.4 degrees F. The beer is a deep carmel with hints of red. The head poured at about 1/4 inch disapates quickly and is off white (almost beige) in color.
The aroma is sweet with slight hops and floral. Full bodied and smooth... you'll definately feel a sense of satisfaction as it goes down. Its a very popular tap... give it a try.

Poured into 12oz glass. Poured a deep mahogany with a tinge of red on the edges. Poured with a 1/4inch of quickly dissipating head that left a minimum of lacing. A sweet aroma, spiced with a hint of hop. The flavor was solidly malt focused with just a nicely complementary hop finish. The body was full and smooth, pleasing and easy. Very drinkable, this beer won't abuse you, whether a couple with the gang after work or over an afternoon with the TV, this is an enjoyable companion. Worth seeking out.

A clouded sorrel beer, highly turbid, with a casual caramel-malt aroma. Irish Red has sharp angles with contributing elements along the lines of an ESB or nut brown. It is light bodied with an uncomplicated wash of malt sweetness that hinges into a wooden or cola nut decay. The beer doesn't lean on overt bitterness but borders on an austere disposition that concludes with a very workable aftertaste.
