Typical big box Total Wine, with one long aisle of craft singles. Decent selection of international beers. Check the can dates. Reasonable prices, efficient service.

Immediately off the 101 so this place is incredibly convenient, with good parking too - Desert Ridge shopping area.
Probably best prices in town and everything I buy there (beer wise) has good turn around and isn't expired, unlike many local spots in town. Only a fraction of the total stock is refrigerated, which would be ideal, but then you're not going to have these market setting prices any longer.
Great selection of wines, spirts, etc. as well. You'll occasionally find some special beer glassware here as well, and they usually have the holiday glassware packs for beer as well as spirits.
Nice staff too. Helpful. About as knowledgeable as the retail employees at other spots in town.

My number 1 place to buy beer and liquor. They have over a 1000 different kinds of beer and 5000+ wines and spirits.
There low prices are incredible. For example, I like to drink Pilsner Urquell. Most stores sell a 12 pack for 15.99 or more. I get it here for 11.99.
The single bottle prices are very reasonable too. They sell a lot of the single bottles in larger cases as well. I can spend all day trying to pick out the different beers they have.
They have wine tastings daily at very reasonable prices.
Pretty much if you want a good deal, great selection and semi friendly staff, go here. I run into the distributors stocking the shelves a lot and they are always helpful in picking out a good beer.

It has been pointed out to me that Total Wine is playing some shady behind-the-scenes games with suing the distributor and stuff like that. So keep in mind that this place is a big chain as opposed to the local mom & pop stores.
First impression is that this place is BIG. It's two or three times the size of a Bevmo. Most of it is wine. Wine everywhere. They actually have a map for the different wine sections. The tequila selection was pretty damn good, and prices were the lowest I've seen on certain brands. The scotch selection was excellent as well, similar to Bevmo's, with prices that were substantially better than Bevmo on the higher end stuff. The beer selection was about double what Bevmo has, and they encourage you to buy single bottles. They even give you a little cardboard carrier. Pricing was competitive. The staff was fairly helpful, but not particularly knowledgeable.
So while I'm a bit put off by the alleged sleaziness of their business tactics, the actual selection and pricing are great. For the high end liquor pricing, this place can't be beat.
