this is a blend apparently of a few trinity sour beers. its tasty, and to me it might be the most sour beer i have had from them. similar to the gangsta in the sense that the sourness is highly acidic in the flanders red family, vinegar and dark dried fruit, cherry and plum come to mind, but very very acidic, lacto driven. hazy and sort of thick looking, maroon in color, and not overly heady. there is a distinct tart cherry character to the nose, and some wheat malt i would assume. the flavor is less layered than the nose suggests, all of the elements sort of smushed together in a ppj sandwich of a beer thats been bouncing around a backpack for a few days, taking a beating. instead of one thing after the next, its all at ounce, which to me seems a little sloppy. the fruit comes out a lot, a light citrus note, and then the sourness, which is really pretty caustic here. i like the flavor a lot, but wish it came in waves and just slowed down a little bit. finish is quick and puckery, but there is a lot of body to this and not much carbonation, so it goes down a little weird. it opens up a lot as it warms. solid brew, in need of a couple tweaks for it to be next level, but definitely worth trying. for me all of the wild stuff from trinity is well worth giving a go.
