Pours bronze/amber with 2 fingers of pearl colored head. Great lacing & head retention

S: Some leafy & grapefruitty hops

T: Grapefruit, a touch of lemon, grainy breadyness & leafy hops up front. Grapefruit dominates as this warms, but also pears, & more leafy hops. Finishes with super solid hop crispness, & nice pear notes hiding underneath, along with sappy pine

MF: Medium bodied, extremely smooth with great balance

Drinks so easy, the ABV would get ya after a while, but pretty quaffable none the less

Just missed out on the oak aged cask version of this, this will be my go to beer in their line up I'm guessing

A- Golden amber with a thick and creamy white head

S- Sweet and strong pine hop, slight floral and juniper notes as well

T- Moderate strength pine-hop flavor and light bitterness that fades throughout, rising golden malt in the middle and some slight grassiness

M- Very smooth, clean, slightly heavy on the palate, the nitro is a very nice touch

O- Well done IPA in my book, very clear hop profile throughout and I really the combination of the flavor with the nitro mouthfeel. Definitely interesting and worth trying if a hop fan

Brought the whole family to this place right next to Garden of the gods where we had a family reunion. This one was an orange hued golden colored beer with a creamy head that faded slow and left great lace. The smell was of pungent grapefruit, and other bright fruits. Hints of orange zest and peach with a sweet malty back. The taste was a bit bitter with tons of grapefruit and hints of peach and pine. A nice caramel middle lent a good balance. The mouthfeel stole the show with a creamy, smooth, silky but bright and crisp bite. Went down super easy. Great IPA.

Just picked up a growler of this bad boy. The aroma is fruity, grapefruity that is. Color is a brown yellow which makes sense with the slight caramel taste. The beer is well balanced with only a slight amount of bitter aftertaste. The highlight is the creamy, silky mouth feel of this brew.

Overall it is a good beer that would make a great session IPA. It diverse enough you can explore its flavors but not so hoppy that it burns you out.

Pours a clear, orange color. 2/3 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of citrus, strong hops, slight sweet malt, and a hint of pale malt. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight tartness, strong hops, slight sweet malt, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, good aroma, feel, and blend.

A lackluster IPA, perhaps not even an IPA. The lack of malt, though, in relation to the hops could be the reason it is what it is. Or, maybe I got a bad glass...

Nice color. Off golden, some amber-ness. No head, but it was poured to the rim. Lacing isn't there.

Some aroma, very weak. I get tropical hops and sweet bread. Both light.

Light flavors, too. Was this watered down? Not sure. While there is nothing off-putting here, there isn't much to call your mammy about, either. Soft pine and faint tropicals....pommelo or tangerine. Malt gave up a while ago.

Probably a nice IPA for hot days. If looking for hops or balance, try something else

Draft at the brewpub.

Pours a clear, dark golden tangerine color with yellow orange hues and a two finger frothy white head with great retention slowly fading into a  lasting ring that leaves chunky lacing behind.

Slightly earthy aroma with dry resinous hops as well as a sweet citrus presence and some caramel malt that gives off notes of graham cracker and biscuit.  Hints of orange peel, grapefruit and other subtle tropical notes.

Medium bodied with a nice hop forward presence.  Good balance of dry earthy pine and sweet citrus/tropical fruit.  Sweet caramel maltiness underneath that slightly overpowers the hops but not too much.  Subtle hear toward the finish which is dry but still has sweetness.

This is one of my favorite brew from Trinity. Especially tasty from a hand pump. Pours a woody brown with a tan head. The nose has bready malts under floral and citrus hops. The taste is a nice balance between the sweet and bitter components. More on the English IPA side. Medium body drinks well.

One pint served in a mug on cask at Trinity Brewing. Cloudy amber with no head and some carbonation. Served a bit too cold for cask. Aroma is a grapefruit sledgehammer. Grapefruit is also present in the middle, but with grassy tones in addition. Some candy-like sweetness. Clean finish. On the heavy side of medium mouthfeel.

Could use more bitterness on the back end, otherwise, very good IPA.

Poured a deep orange color with a nice whispy white head.Nose is lighter on the hop and malt but it is a cask brew. Taste has some citrus notes in there and some tropical fruit perhaps. Mouthfeel was good, creamy but man I was looking for more. I have had some great cask IPAs before that really set the standard for me. Next time I will try it via regular draught.

A beautiful golden clean pour with a fat white head. Globby lacing.

Resiny hop oils fill the nose with grapefruit, peach and pine.

Gooey cascade and centennial hops form the base of the flavor, offering floral, citrusy notes. It's then perfectly rounded out by the smooth and slightly spicy Willamette character.

Mouthfeel is light to medium with appropriate carbonation and a nice dry, yet smooth finish.

A very impressive IPA from Trinity. This ranks up there with the best of the style. I hope they brew a DIPA in the near future.

a pretty standard ipa from a brewery that's capable of magic. poured from the cask at the source, this one has a orange to golden color with an inch of soft white head. the nose is more balance than I expected after having been blown away by the slap your mammy imperial ipa. its got a mix of English and American malt, at least it tastes that way, and the sweetness mellows the hops, which are more bitter than flavorful, and honestly not particularly impressive. still, the beer is refreshing and the finish is quick. the carbonation is nice from the cask, I think an excellent medium to enjoy this beer, softens up the edges and allows for a lot of drinkability. I would like to see the hops stand out a little more, especially for a flagship ipa, im not necessarily looking for malt balance, but I appreciate this for what it is. still, I think there are far better choices when visiting this awesome brewpub.

On tap at the brewery, the beer was served in a mug and delivered a slightly hazy orange amber color with golden edges in the light. The head is 1 1/2 finger of white bubbly foam, decent retention with some lacing. The nose is hop forward with citrus hop floral character. A sweet malt provides a mild background. The flavor follows as hop forward just as detected in the nose. Medium bitterness. Fairly well balanced. Finishes crisp and clean. Adequate carbonation. Overall, solid IPA.

Note, I had a taster of the beer on Nitro, which seemed to mute the hop character as a comparison, but was also good.
