Second 750ml consumed in the last 3 months. Same batch. Full notes taken during consumption last night.

A- Cider-like pour to a tulip with a hazy deep golden body. A foamy white head to just about one finger. After decent retention a fluffy ring deposits just a few patches of lacing.

S- Funky bugs and fruity hops coming in just beneath that. Slight barnyard straw, cherry and lactic lemon tartness countered by tangerine, apricot, orange and passion fruit. Wheaty rustic Weiss hint. More juicy here.

T- Wild aspects of the beer take the precedence but not by a ton, funky musty fruits. Lactic acid is the driving force of it all adding a moderate sourness that brings together notes of passion fruit, tangerine, clementine juice, lemon juice, apple, wheat bread crust, cheese and citrus zest in general. Less juicy and more tart pith flavors.

MF- Fairly light bodied with crisp high end carbonation. Not the most texture but a slightly frothy and puffy foamy overall. Finishes with a light to medium sourness.

The IPA part of the brew is lost a bit in the taste but you still appreciate stone fruits and citrus. With the lactic funk and sourness these hop notes fit in very nicely and I can't help but think of a citrus yogurt.

Poured this 750 mL brown bottle into a Tripel Karmeliet glass. The body was a murky, dull orange color. The small, light tan head left almost no lace.

The smell was barnyard-like. Brett! Wet concrete and later sour candy and leafy hops.

The taste did not reflect the aroma. Fruity, acidic sharpness. Puckering peachy and spicy hops flavors. Lactic bite, but also a creaminess. Deeply fruity and tart. Very tasty.

The mouthfeel was medium in viscosity and carbonation. I would seek this out again and again.

The beer somehow drinks way above its ABV, almost double. On both the aroma and the flavor, the beer is straight guava juice. As you drink it, it hits of guava sweetness, then more flavor, then onto the slight tart quality the fruit has. Everything is so guava about this beer. A medium malt body in the middle offers some sweetness and makes the beer seem bigger than it is.

A really interesting one.

12/26/14 - Updated from a 4 'Had' score. Thanks to Cam for sharing this a second time.

A - Super hazy rusty fruit juice amber color. Head becomes a thin white ring after some time.

S - Smells like a sour lemon mango fruit smoothie. Earthy dankish hops and and some funk.

T - Pretty intense sourness, kind of shocking for the ABV. Nice hop presence with lots of tropical fruit, juicy lemony citrus, earthy funk. Big sour tropical dank.

M - Good foaminess, kinda chalky feel, big everything for 4.1%: feel, flavors, sourness. Would never guess this is 4.1%.

O - Sourness and earthy funk is big, but a good tropical weed hop presence as well, nice melding of wild and IPA.
