Atmosphere: Really nice atmosphere. Beer bottles in a cool display near the back, a garage door that was open with chic modern couches to lounge on, a non-smoking AND a smoking patio, cool bar made of melted down beer bottles, neat artwork that was their own. I have no complaints and felt really comfortable in here. Some of the locals looked at us oddly but aside from that it was really cool.

Quality: Everything was great, this was a rare gem I just stumbled onto while in town. Great food, service, good beer, and the place rocked.

Service: While I sometimes had to flag the bartender down, I think he was just low key so I can't fault him too much. Very solid service overall, and never forgot anything we asked for. Offered tasters of any beer we wanted to try and was happy to discuss the beers too.

Selection: For a place that brews their own (6 on tap) I was really surprised at the extensive tap list that they don't make. They had about 20-25 guest taps, and some of them were VERY good like La Folie from New Belgium.

Food: The African Tundra soup they had the day we were there was out of this world. The food was extremely good, fresh, tasted healthy and delicious.

Value: Prices were very reasonable. I think for both of us to eat a bowl of soup, 2 entrees, and a few beers the bill was $30 plus tip. Very reasonable.

I can't say enough about how much I loved this place. It was a place we just happened onto by accident, I hadn't read a thing about it and I recommend the place, the food, and their beers HIGHLY. A must visit place in the Denver area.

This seems like a place that knows what it wants to be and is executing it well. We went on a beautiful Saturday in January (seriously) and it was packed at noon, always a good sign. They have a huge variety of their own brews on tap, and though I only tasted a couple, both were excellent. Though also had an incredible guest tap list (Bourbon County, FW 18th Anniversary, etc.), which is ballsy considering they are also selling their own product. Shows confidence in their beers.
Food menu was eclectic and very interesting. Among us, we had sliders, jerk chicken mac and cheese, and some other cool stuff. Would definitely go back just for the food.
Servers knew their product well and made recommendations.
The brewery component is kind of behind walls, so you can't see much of what's going on.

I've never had an enjoyable experience at Trinity. It always takes 20 minutes to get a beer after I arrive. The food is sub par. Service is slow, and nobody is really friendly there. They have a great selection if you enjoy a saison, but the rest of their selection is limited.

Also, recently, the owner went to Twitter and insulted the entire community's intelligence because they ranked 3rd in a beer poll. Totally classless. I spent my last dollar at Trinity over a year ago, and don't regret that decision.

Used to be a big supporter, but after repeated negative posts and comments about the Colorado Springs community I will be taking my business elsewhere.

After coming in 3rd place in a local beer blog's "Best of the Springs" competition (which was voted on by COS community members) Trinity has the following to say on their official Twitter account, "coming in 3rd locally while winning nationally internationally? #hmmm...it's situations like this that pretty much guarantee we will be leaving the springs... I've pretty much accepted the education level of the city."

Furthermore, Trinity blocked anyone who called them out on their a negative view. Thanks, but not thanks. I'll take my business somewhere else, and to Trinity: if you all hate COS so much I suggest you do too.

The experience depends on your server and what you end up ordering, but all around, this is an excellent brewery. Their specialty seems to be barreled saisons, but venture outside that genre and you'll see that they know what their doing in most every category. They seem to also be regularly experimenting with sours, and this project is progressing nicely. Their recent "Super Juice Solution" is one of the best beers I had in 2014.

A: Lively but not too crowded on a Friday before 5pm
Q: Some selections are very good some not as much
S: Had no problem getting an initial sampler, after that could not get the bartender to come back and I was sitting at the bar. Took 15 minutes to get another bartenders attention.
Sel: Ten beers on tap
V: Bombers were on sale for the anniversary ($4) off which actually made them $2 less then at a local beer store.
O: Service quite shaky and that was last impression

I timed my visit to coincide with the brewery's 6th anniversary party, so I think I hit the jackpot as far as the beers.

Trinity broke out a bunch of cellared versions of their beers to serve on tap and these are the beers that are really noteworthy.

A 2011 Passed Stout? Effing Phenomenal (4.5/5). Particularly the wine-like character that gave the brew a different element beyond the oak, chocolate, and other barrel-aged qualities (which were still outstanding and delicious).

Chilly Waters 2013 was good (4/5) but I was a bit confused because I had the beer at Falling Rock Tap House and remembered it having some spice there, but not at the brewery. Either way, a gem of a beer.

Other standouts from the cellar were the Damn it Feels Good to be a Gangsta wild ale (4.5/5) and the Pappy Legba wild ale (4.5/5). Trinity does a damn good job with sour beers. For the 6th anniversary, I was able to buy a number of these beers at a $4 discount on 750 mL bottles (word is they're doing away with this format of bottle or the artwork or something).

As for the regular Trinity lineup, it was cool to get the generous sampler with about ten core beers all served in mini-snifters and with some delicious cheese. Trinity has this "Kill the pint glass" motto that I appreciate and which are sentiments I share. However, the majority of the beers were very run of the mill. Of the regular line up, the DIPA was fair (3.5/5) as was the Flo IPA (same score). The Farmhouse saison was the best of the lot (4/5), with the rest being 3 out 5s or lower.

Still, the service was good, the sours are great, and oooooh, that mac n' cheese they brought back for the anniversary was out of this world. I got the one with bacon bits and it was divine.

Overall, a great brewery to visit, but I'd suggest skipping a sampler if it's your first visit and go straight to the barrel-aged and sour beers.
