Look - Murky amber with about 2 fingers of head which dissipates kind of slowly. Moderate carbonation.
Smell - Malty with a sharp hoppy kick to it. Maybe some spices. I'm not picking up on any fruity smells.
Taste - Like the smell, mostly malty but with a hoppy bite to it. There's a hint of something sweet, maybe a touch of caramel. Also a "smoky" taste to it, but not very strong. Fairly well-balanced in texture, not too watery or creamy. A bit of a bitter aftertaste that isn't too long-lasting.
Drinkability - A fairly modest yet intriguing beer. Easy to drink and not too filling.
