Six and a half percent? Really? Shhh. Don't tell the Alabama ABC board. This one slipped into AL somehow, like a handful of others that are over the limit here.
Just a decent, drinkable IPA, though pretty one dimensional. Has a slightly cloudy appearance, which i like as it suggests a lack of filtering. Quite pale in color. Malt backbone is pretty thin. Good citrusy hop punch.
Doesn't stand out, but a pleasant quaff. We takes what we can get here in deprived Alabama.

Purchased from one of the local quick marts.
A: A slightly cloudy golden with moderate head and retention.
S: Mild notes of hops, pine and citrus.
T: Same as the smell. Mild yet well balanced.
M: Clean and crisp. Goes down easy.
O: A good intro IPA. Not for the hop sadist though. It was the first IPA I ever had and works well in that capacity. Nice to revisit but probably won't buy again.
