"This Red's for you."
Typical topaz IPA, with fuzzy, white head. Smells do not deter, but do not invite either. Mild, ester-fusel puff, with definite notes of mash dryness. Balance between hop bitterness and dry mash/fermentation work very well together while still leaving enough dextrine sweetness to carry the body through the afertaste. Hop bitterness lingers with mild oak notes.
Not too shabby.
I've had much worse from much more respected labels.
