The pour was a dark yellow with a one and a half finger head that quickly dissapated to a thin white ribbon on top of the beer, left traces of lace on the sides of the glass.
The smell was thin at best, what I could pick up was standard IPA hop oil smell with a hint of malt. I'm used to IPA's with a very strong pronounced smell, this on just wasn't there.
The drink started with a kick of hops, not kick your teeth out just strong hops. Followed by a quick hint of malt sweetness. Then finishing with a lingering hop flavor and oily feel in the back of the mouth.
A very enjoyable and drinkable IPA, it just seemed to fall off in the nose.

Purchased from one of the local quick marts.
A: A slightly cloudy golden with moderate head and retention.
S: Mild notes of hops, pine and citrus.
T: Same as the smell. Mild yet well balanced.
M: Clean and crisp. Goes down easy.
O: A good intro IPA. Not for the hop sadist though. It was the first IPA I ever had and works well in that capacity. Nice to revisit but probably won't buy again.
