Redhook’s twist on the Belgian style is the addition of fresh ginger, which adds a refreshing snappiness to this lighter-bodied wheat beer. Redhook Wit is perfect for warm summer months of outdoor BBQ-ing, sitting by the pool, or just taking a break by hanging inside enjoying the AC and watching old re-runs of Gilligan’s Island.

Looks and smells like a wit, cloudy pale golden with paper thin head. Hints of citrus and spice, smooth and light mouthfeel. Good example of the style.

Poured from bottle into English pub glass, look is a cloudy gold with no lacing and minimal head that lasts no time, smell can immediately smell the spices ginger and sugary notes, taste is strong and sweet very overpowering with ginger and a lingering after taste and dry mouth feel.
Good beer but not something I feel I can drink a lot of, good for a night when having just a few. Not super heavy just a powerful taste recommend to all.

Thought this beer was total panther p..s. Bitter taste that does not leave one' tongue. Not smooth going sown. Did not compliment drinking and talking. Kept focusing on this bitter beer .

L: Pours cloudy straw under a 2” off-white persistent and clingy foam collar. S: Spice, traces of citrus, white bread. T: Light bread, citrus, traces of ginger, no discernable hops. F: Medium to medium low body, medium high carbonation. O: Very drinkable and refreshing.
