Had this on tap at the pub and brought a growler home.

In a mug the beer was a reddish brown color with a medium-sized tan head. Nice color.

Aroma of sweet fruit and caramel malt.

Cherry taste, very sweet. Some caramel. Tiny bit of hops.

This was an enjoyable beer, a little too much on the sweet side for me. I guess I liked it enough, since I drank two with dinner and brought the growler home. (400 characters)

Poured on-tap at Redhook in NH, and served in a pint glass. The beer pours a vibrant dark copper-red coloring with no head. Low carbonation signs, the beer looks good and smooth throughout. Good aromas in the nose, with roasted caramel malt, slight earth and nut hues, and a touch of smoke. The flavors are round and crisp on a mid-bodied feel, with a semi-sweet caramel roast, touch of dark bitter chocolate, and a good backing of dry, bitter hops to clean the palate. The hops give a dry, clean finish, and the afteraste is light caramel and a chocolate/hops balance. Very tasty. (581 characters)
