Pours a light amber gold with a snowy white head that lasts, moderate lace. Pleasant aroma of hops and malt, a bit understated. Rather malty and slightly sweet taste with a surge of mild hops toward the finish. Very smooth and easy to drink, a nice summer beer.
Blonde ale is one of Redhook's triptych of seasonal beers, along with Winterhook, and Nut Brown Ale. It is usually available in the late spring and summer.
