Pours a nice pale, but dark, straw color. Quite true to the "blonde" category. A two-finger head that laces like it should.
Malty, biscuity flavors, with a hint of honey. There is a slight creamy quality, a subtle richness that carries into the aftertaste, which is a bit on the sweet side. The finish is a bit fizzy, but doesn't totally lack in smoothness. The hops can be picked up on in the scent; a mild, citrusy note with a hint of a "grassy" note.
Not a bad summer sipper (or should I say guzzler...?) I drank mine rather quick, without realizing it. I'd say burgers with garlic toasted buns and homemade macaroni salad is in order.
