Pours a light/pale gold, brite and clear, with a small, filmy white head.
Smells malty, fruity and sweet with a light hop backing. Nothing too complex; just a big dose of pale malts and (noble?) hops.
Tastes pretty grainy and overly sweet with notes of caramel malt and a rather big fruity character; pale and toasted malt flavours linger. Light hop bitterness, little hop flavour save for the finish and actually, pretty sweet. Lots of malt flavour packed into this brew with a decent hop finish... a little better than par for the style, not great.
Light bodied, but not really watery, a little too sweet. Pretty clean but again, a bit sweet for the style, and not really what I would describe as a "crisp" beer. Very easy to drink, and overall, it's decent.
Except for the weak aroma, I kinda dug this brew.
