Clear brown with an orange/reddish hue and a thin skim of a cap -- mostly just a collar around the glass. Sweet aroma, nutty and brown sugar, bread and biscuit. The flavour was thin, bitterness was higher and more aggressive than the malt could balance. Notes of grass and mint. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, a bit coarse. Not something I'll go in search of, but not all bad.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light brown color, with a very thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, honey, maple and a faint touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of nuts and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some sweetness comes in from flavors of maple, caramel and honey. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, it’s a decent beer but there are several other beers in the style that I would pick first.
