Poured from a 12 oz. brown bottle with the date clearly printed on the bottom left corner of the label (4/17/13) into a pint glass and I get 1/2 finger of head. I hope this is the bottled on date on not the expiration date. I have had out of code problems before at this grocery store.

A: Pours clear and honey colored with a small (1/2 finger) head that dissipate at a rapid rate to leave almost nothing on the beer at the end. There is little to no lacing. I just washed this glass by hand this morning and let in air dry so I don't believe it to be a dirty glass.

S: I smell malts and some biscuits. There is also a smell of fresh cut grass.

T: Mostly malt at the beginning that I can put my finger on and then some citrus hops and finishes dry. Not bad.

M: It is easy enough to drink but I find it thin and the carbonation to be minimal.

O: This is just an average beer. I am a fan of American Pale Ales but this is not a beer that I would gravitate toward nor would I recommend it. That being said: I wouldn't turn it down.

Pours from the stubby bottle into a standard pint glass a clear light to medium golden with a thin quick to fade head that leaves no trace behind.Caramel malts and toasty grain the nose with not much hop presence except for a hint of herb.Flavors are alot of caramel/biscuit with mild herbal/leafy hops, this seems much more like an English pale than an American one in my opinion. It goes down pretty easy but there isn't much going on as far as complexity.En Fuego...

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Golden amber with a thin white head. No lacing on the glass.

Smell: Hops, pine, and citrus notes.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium to light bodied. Taste of bitter pine/hops with a subtle citrus taste in the background.

Overall: Decent brew. I would have it again.

Just about as ordinary as one can get. If it were labeled Bud Light, I would have no complaints, but it is not so labeled. I expect more from producers branding themselves as 'craft beers'.

Not much to it, goes down smooth. Dan Patrick is a jackass, not sure why they would let him put his name on the bottle - the beer is better than that.

Copper colored with excellent clarity. Lots of carbonation bubbles are churning from within. Heavy lacing. There's a quarter inch head of eggshell white. Aroma is of light malt and fresh bread. The flavor seems a bit muted with some light malt and bready notes. Just a trace of gentle bittering hops are detectable. The mouthfeel is light and smooth.

There is a little less taste than there is smell I wasn't expecting the best but I expected more but for 4.7% I'm setting the bar too high. It lacks in taste it's good for a summer session beer but if had a little of hop after taste it would be a lot better. It's too watery for me but since it's cheaper than most it ok but to be honest most of the rest of their stuff is above part.
