Another on-tap beer I enjoyed at Beachwood BBQ, and another with WTF pricing (read the end). On to the beer:
Dark brown color, not a whole lot of head or retention for this beer. Strong barrel aroma. That's the bourbon talking with notes of maple and raisins. The taste was bliss at first sip. Just tons of maple and raisins. But the further I got along, the beer lost of its lust. It was still good, but not as heavenly, and it seemed to "thin out" some. Fruity alcohol infused well within this beer. Not viscous, rather it went down easy.
It's good, just not shit my pants good. $30 for a 25.7 oz bottle in stores, but "just" $6 for a 10 ounce draft (about $15 for 25.7 oz on draft), what gives?
Serving type: on-tap
