Gunsmoke pours when popped open. Fills a tulip glass with a nearly perfect light peach hazed offering topped with a spumescent antique white headcap leaving a bowl shaped covering with thick lace in the glass. Quite impressive.
Nose of spice nutmeg and melon. Some lemon meringue scents that mix with a dessert vanilla ice cream that just makes me want to gulp a hearty gulp.
First swigs: Instant dry snap of leafy hops and pie crust malt. Lemony zest and fresh sliced sushi ginger create a complex quaffer. Plenty of generous hops added creates a brisk Belgian Pale imparting a gentle fruit aspect of pear and green apple with the delicateyeast tone.
Squeaky clean finish of sparkling zesty Cananda Dry ginger ale. Light body and crispness that speaks quality.
Last swigs: Reminds me a tad of Orval without the funk. Quite impressive for an American Brewery to create such a spot on Belgian. Kudos to Lost ABeey!
