I had this at the Hulmeville Inn. Poured into a pint glass pours a deep brown with no visibility with an ok tan colored heading. Very little lacing in the beginning that turns flat about halfway down.
Smell is of roasted malts. Some darker fruit's plum, raisins, etc.
Taste is very heavy with roasted malt and raisins. A molasses taste takes over about mid way through and finishes with a slight spice.
Mouth is fullbodied a little flat with decent carbonation. Really nothing on the tongue except a slight aftertaste of spice.
Drink is a little heavier than usual it does go down rather easily for how heavy it tastes. If that makes sense.

Appearance - dark brown with some carbonation and little to no lacing.
Smell - dark fruits, plum, fig, some chocolate. Reminds me of the smell of a Rochefort 10.
Taste - the dark fruits, figs and plums are predominate up front. Sweetens as it warms and has a boozy finish.
Mouthfeel - medium to high carbonation and full bodied.
Overall - a good beer up front. Lots of character and depth initially but does hold as it warms.

2012 vintage poured from a 750ml bottle into a chalice
A: Dark brown, opaque with a one-finger head that settles fairly quickly
S: Malty, sweet with the honey/raisin/rosemary notes mentioned on the label
T: Matches the nose. Very sweet, caramel/raisin/fig/honey notes, a bit boozey
M: Full-bodied, sweet/boozy as above
O: Not a huge fan of this. Full of flavor but off-balance with the amount of alcohol and sweetness. Perhaps fresher would help and I bought this at retail (albeit a trusted retailer) so I can't account for its entire storage history
