Well I can see where the name comes into play a red ruby garnet type coor with little spritzy head that quickly fades into a ring around the glass.
Christ that is some nose. Wonderful woodsy aromas sour cherry, red currant, brett sour esters, dried berries, lavender and more. Amazing nose.
Just an amazing beer. Great oak notes follow the thick sour mouth puckering entry and middle. Full of tart fruits and berries cherry leading the way a nice acidic character on the finish and middle. Mouth is round and puckering and a beer I could sip on daily if available.
