Thanks to Bulldogp04 for sharing this guy in line at the CBS release. Served in a Deschutes snifter.
A: Pours a hazy golden yellow with spritzy white head that dissipates to some swirls.
S: There is actually some considerable funk in there, nice tart lemon skins and some sour apples. A nice woody oak character as well.
T: The taste follows the nose. It's nice to see some funkiness in there, nice oaky flavors with a sharp tartness. Some sour lemon as well. Really great.
M: Light bodied with a nice dry finish. Little pucker in there.
O: Delicious. I'm surprised at how funky this has become. I didn't really expect that. Great flavor profiles. I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to try this again, but I can cross my fingers and hope.
