Sampled this a little over a week ago with some friends. Following review composed from notes.
~2oz. sample poured into a snifter.
Appearance: Deep red body with a long-lasting, loose, white cap. Great clarity and color. No lacing.
Smell: Pure, sweet raspberries... and that's pretty much it. No hints of sourness or funk, no cloying sweetness; just a very nice raspberry aroma. Delightful.
Taste: Heavy raspberry with notes of red wine vinegar and booze. Seedy. Sourness is kept at a moderate and pleasant level, allowing the more delicate raspberry flavors to enter the fray.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied with medium carbonation and tartness. Very easy and refreshing.
Overall: A mellow and delicately-crafted lambic. While it may lack complexity, it provides plenty of raspberry with just the right amount of sourness. Happy I got to try this one!
