Pours brown, ends up black, with no light passing, some brown in the edges as well. A medium sized mocha dissipates rather quickly to a well retained ring, constantly supplied with new bubbles sliding up the glass.
Smell is chocolaty, sweet bourbon, booze, and a hint of vanilla and dark fruitiness.
Taste is bitter chocolate, bourbon, booze, roasted malts, and dark fruits soaked in brandy.
Full bodied, and very silky smooth. A bit of heat, but expected. A sipper for sure, which smooths more as it warms.
What a treat to find this within walking distance of work, and the cheapest price yet. I will be getting more for sure, this was delicious.
