2013 vintage. Poured from a 12.7 oz cork n caged bottle into a Half Acre snifter.
A- pours near black with a half finger mocha head. Small bubbles of lacing cling to the glass.
S- big port aromas, oak, some barrel notes, dark fruits, light chocolate and roast
T- bitter bakers chocolate, oak, dark fruits, tawny notes, barrel but not really brandy or bourbon just liquor notes, more port or vinous notes at the finish.
M- full body and low carbonation. Fairly mild, light feel with some abv that is noticeable and dry finish.
O- very interesting beer. Brandy angel's share and serpents stout blend lends more oak and port notes than brandy or stout.
