My first experience with being "Delivered" and as the label indicates Sin IS Good! This is how I envision a strong ale should be. Pours dark as night and carbonation higher than anticipated (pleasant surprise there), head dissipating fairly quickly but appropriate to time nonetheless. Set up extremely well in my BCBS snifter. Admired the unique, intense smell from the combination of bourbon and brandy barrel aging. 'tis a sipper to take your time with and enjoy the SIN (Pleasure?) of Deliverance!

Thanks to F2brewers for this one.

Poured from a 375ml bottle, no #freshbeer info.

Pours a very dark color with a thin, almost non-existent head, probably due to the barrel aging. Aroma is strong, molasses, bourbon. Taste has a bit of smoke to it, sweet brandy with next to no carbonation. Quite the beast and a sipper for sure.

Bottle shared by Umberto at Curran's tasting.

Pours a deep, dark stout-like black, with a small half inch head, and a little bit of lacing down the glass. The head descends into an oily film fairly quickly.

Smells like bourbon, brandy, chocolate, vanilla, and oak.

Rich bourbon-soaked brownie batter flavor up front, just decadent, a little bit of espresso flavor, some boozy brandy flavors, and some nice dark fruits flavor- cherries, plums, raisins, etc.

Thick bodied, almost motor oil like, very viscous. Creamy, smooth, thick mouthfeel, very low carbonation. Drinkable despite the body and ABV.

This one was a surprise, it's interested me for a while, but I never thought I'd be able to try it. Thanks Umberto!

Poured from 500 ml bottle into Stone taster glass. 2013 vintage.

A: Pours dark black with zero head.

S: Bourbon, vanilla, cacao nibs. Some slight dark fruits in the background. Maybe a hint of cherry.

T: Lots of bourbon character. Vanilla and chocolate notes are fairly prominent. A bit of cherry and other fruits.

M: Full bodied but almost flat. No carbonation to be found at all.

O: Very nice flavors, but it lacked carbonation. Maybe a bad cork seal?
