375 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Reviewed from notes.

Appearance - Deep murky reddish brown. Small head. Thin collar.

Smell - Peach is strongest. Lots of charred oak aromas, too. Acidic smelling with some caramel sweetness behind.

Taste - Less acidic than the nose implied. Brettier, too. Peach still comes out. The caramel is completely bereft of accompanying sweetness, which is suprising. Dry finish.

Mouthfeel - Pretty sour and very dry. Medium body with plenty of carbonation.

Overall - The bright tartness is good, but I'm not convinced on how it plays out with all of the residual caramel flavors.

Track #2. 12.7oz bottle. No date.

Look: Iron, muddy color, thin beige lace

Smell: Aged, wood, fermented peaches, boozy cherries, funky background, daunting

Taste: Smooth, a bit creamy, matured tartness, spicy phenols, stone fruit center flesh, peach skins, sour cherries, granny smith apple bite, citrus, oaky, light bourbon, toffee and vanilla, dry, tannic finish

Insanely complex. Sneaky alcohol. Drinks dangerously. Stair way to heaven indeed. Or hell? Who cares as long as they serve good beer.

12.7 brown corked and caged bottle, no freshness date.

Cloudy brown, decent off-white lacing. Complex aroma of ripe beets, bread crust, quince paste, musty cellar, lemon pith, melon rind, wood, peach pits, and booze. Semi-crisp, creamy body, halo of bourbon, tart cherries, peach skins, nutty grain, woody dryness, faintly vinous, very warming with a woody finish.

Overly complex but I sort of love it ... all of the flavors may not mesh immediately though all comes together in the finish. A lovely sipper.

Hazy, ruddy body with little head formation. Unripe peach and black cherries on the nose with lesser notes of caramel and tobacco. The palate is sharply acidic and full bodied. Big lacto notes with a little harsh acetic acid behind it. Lot of peach and cherry flavor, with the robust toffee notes and booziness of Angels Share coming out in the finish. I'm liking the peach and cherry flavors here, but the acidity is a bit harsh and the blend seems a bit disharmonious.
