375 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Reviewed from notes.
Appearance - Very dark, nearly black. Biggest head of the Box Set so far. Looks genuinely nice.
Smell - Smells like a schwartzbier. Slight bretty aroma with lots of chocolate.
Taste - Brett character is strongest. Chocolate comes through behind it, mostly bitter dark chocolate. Lots of brett acidity coming through. Kinda bland.
Mouthfeel - Buckets of brett. Dry and medium light bodied. No head. Overly carbonated.
Overall - The least exciting so far. Boring beer with some brett.

Poured a very dark brown color with a very tiny off-white head. Scent is quite funky. Lots of brett with some cherry and wine-like aromas. Also has some stout aromas...subtle chocolate and roasted malt. More funk and barnyard characteristics. Taste is pretty weak at first. Not much going on with a bit of chocolate, watered down bourbon, and tart cherries. As the beer warmed up, it definitely got better...still not spectacular. More tartness shined through and became more vinous. The bourbon still isn't working too well with it. Mouthfeel is pretty spot-on. Drinkability is fair. Overall, this has been the only Track I have had the opportunity to try...kinda disappointed. I came for the DDG release, and this was the only special bottle left for purchase. Glad I got the bottle for my collection, but I would much rather have drank more tasters of Sister Mary Rita.
