Another of our remixed tracks, Track 5 is a blend of two fruit beers — Red Poppy and Framboise de Amorosa bumped with additional fruits and sent to rest in French Oak prior to bottling.

7 years in the bottle has robbed it of carbonation. It’s super tart. Makes your teeth ache, but finishes with a ton of sweet raspberry candy. Really good, but has such a strong punch that it’s not particularly refreshing on a hot night.

Consumed 10/17. Review from notes.

All the raspberries and cherries. Sour and tart. Mouth watering. Ruby red color. Raspberry seeds, oak, tons of fruit, jammy. Brett funk, but fruit all the way. Wow!

375ml cork and caged bottle poured into a matching Lost Abbey teku. The brew appears a muddy dark chestnut color with a head that fades pretty quick.

This smells fruity with raspberry and cherry immediately noticeable than some supporting earthen qualities and wild bacterial sourness.

The taste is tart with raspberry seeds, earthen and gets more sour with a hint of natural sour cherry flavoring. As more sips are taken, it gets progressively more intense but not in an enjoyable way.

This is medium in body with low carbonation. It is very sour, seemingly too sour just for the sakw of being sour. Fortunately the raspberry flavors are pretty firm in this. As I drink more, it seems quite similar to track 7 except more raspberry kick and no turpentine added. Final thoughts are that this is not that good, especially for the price.

Awesome jammy raspberry presence on the nose, taste is too tart which makes it hard to drink more then a few ounces.

Split with JLindros, another big thanks to Alec for letting us get this box.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a hazy garnet hue with a thin head that fades to leave a thin halo.

S - Aromas of raspberry seed and light cherry. Loads of raspberry, seeds and skin, very pungent and acidic. Pleasant.

T - Taste is loads of tart raspberry, seed and skin, nicer acidic vinegar, good sweet malts. Tasty, though perhaps a bit older. Delicious.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, good acid notes, the vinegar and raspberry play good hand in hand.

O - Overall this beer was really acidic with nice raspberry notes, still, hard to drink a lot of this.

Another huge thanks to Rudzud for splitting this with me, and Alec for letting us get it.

No head, dark mahogany murky reddish color.

Nose loads and loads of raspberry, fresh berry and candied fruit, lots of seed with little tannin, and skin tannin, etc. Mild tartness but lots of fruit. Acidic like sourness and vinous.

Taste very tart, big sour raspberry and general sour berry, tart tannic seed all over, green berry, with nice sour raspberry and acidic bite. Mild sweet malt but on the drier side, and acidic sour lactic bite. Finish is sour with mild sticky tartness, bitter tannic note, tart raspberry fruit, etc.

Mouth med to thinner bod, decent carb, big acidic bite.

Overall ok but not amazing.
