375 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Reviewed from notes.
Appearance - Brownish red. Khaki head becomes a medium collar and some wisps.
Smell - Cherries and other dark fruits. Musty and caramelly. Vinous with raisins and a lot of acidity.
Taste - Fruit is more muddled. Caramel is more prevalent. I guess it's the currants that push through the most, but I'm not an expert on currants.
Mouthfeel - Muddy kind of sour. Well carbonated, maybe too much. Dry.
Overall - Not my favorite. It's got a lot of fruit flavors going on that get muddled together.
