Tried this new Baltic Porter from Peekskill on tap at the brewery.
Dark, intense black color to this beer. A mocha-colored head forms. Strong sticky lacing.
Aroma contains nicely roasted malt, chocolate, and smoke.
Tastes include smooth roast, milk chocolate, coffee, campfire smoke, licorice, and brown sugar. Just a really nice set of flavors here. Excellent.
Full bodied, creamy mouthfeel, very drinkable.
A great new creation from these guys. It seems like they can do no wrong.

Pours a beautiful black with a finger of tan head, thick look to it. A lasting cap hangs around for the ride.
Beautiful smell. the hint of smoke in the nose is stupidly alluring, and really brings out the coffee, chocolate, light licorice, and burnt sugar notes. Super delicious aroma that sets my taste buds to attention.
Wow what a taste. All the flavors of the aroma, with some estery fruity notes and just a hint of tart yeast. Extremely clean flavor presentation, with a smoky and roasty and sweet end of sip that is just amazing.
Quite full bodied and viscous, super clean on palate, just right low carb., all combine to frame the taste wonderfully.
The best Baltic Porter I have tried. Leaves BA Framinghammer in the dust, and Moscow isn't barrel aged, but has more and better flavors. Get this if you can, you will be as blown away as I am now.

This is a new creation from PB. I love it when PB puts out a new beer.
"Atlantic style porter, brewed with european malts and barley and lagered for over seven weeks. Slight hint of licorice, coffee and smoke"
Pours near blak under a dark mocha head, slight in stature and staying power. But leaves a nice fine film, and very fine fields of all the way up sheeting.
Dark malts, dark chocolate and black coffee on the nose.
More dark chocolate, coffee grounds, licorice and general intense dark beer goodness. Dark malts and bitter dark chocolate notes lingering long into the finish.
Yum...dark beer fans rejoice

The beer comes in a dark black color with a brownish head.
The aroma has roasty malt, but mostly lots of caramel and toffee sweetness. A bit of sweet chocolate.
The flavor follows with a super sweet and sticky toffee in the front, brown sugar. The bitterness has a bit of resin and pine ,a long bitterness with roasty coffee.
A truly fantastic beer.
