Had on tap at blind tiger- pours a clear golden color, with an inch and a half if bubbly head, decent retention, minimal lacing.

Smell is mild- slight aroma of citrus hops and light grains.

Taste is excellent- citrus hops, light grain profile, very refreshing.

Mouthfeel is great- light to medium body with moderate carbonation. This one is definitely a keeper and an excellent example of the style.

Poured a deep copper hue with a half finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a light toasted malts accompanied by a grassy hop.

The taste was very well balanced with a round caramel malt and a cleansing bright grassy hop.

The mouthfeel was clean with a dry finish.

Overall a tasty well balanced ale. Very sessionable.

I generally do not gush about pale ales. I tend to like good ones as much as the next guy, but this one was particularly good and I had a few of them in a session. The aroma is floral hoppy, with a very nice finish of Mt. Hood hops which lend an astringent, earthy hop character to the mix. I also blended the hop common with another peekskill pale; "wake up call" on a 3/4 to 1/4 basis (favoring the Hop Common) ....excellent as a blend as well.

Enjoyed in a pint glass

A: Pours a light golden color with zero carbonation bubbles, has a thin white head that dissipates quickly, leaves spotty lacing on the glass
S: a slight citrus hop is present, other than that it is very clean
T: drinks with a slight tartness and nice citrus hop notes that are slightly toned down
M: medium carbonation tingle, drinks silky, has a dry finish
O: love the style and i find this one to be a nice representation of the style but would have liked to see some more head retention, taste was overall very pleasant

Enjoyed in a pint glass.

A: pours a nice light amber color that pour with a nice finger and a Hal head that is an off white color. When head dissipates leaves light lacing.

S: fairly weak on the nose, mostly a slight pine hop aroma with a slight sweet malt aroma as well.

T: taste is of strong piney hops, also has a very nice sweet roasted malt on the top of the palate.

M: nice carbonation with a nice full body. Starts off semi sweet and roasty. And finishes kind of bitter.

Overall, this is a significant improvement from the old hop common. Very easy to drink, pairs great with wings.
