A huge thank you to CaveDave for sending this beauty along. Poured into straight pint glass. A sharp hiss as the growler was cracked open, and a lightly hazy straw-gold beer was poured. About an inch of fluffy, white head topped the beer, and had decent retention and very good lacing.
A nice lemony hop scent filled the OKComputer's kitchen when the cap was popped, and in the glass a gentle grain scent was underneath that big blast of hops. On the tongue, that very light malt presence was barely noticeable under the avalanche of fruity hops, and I thought I had a bit of pine at the back as well.
The body, while a bit thinner than I like in the style, was very crisp, clean, and smooth, with a nicely dry finish. Drinkability was excellent, we agreed that we would drink the hell out of this brew were it local to us. Overall, a very, very good beer that borders on excellent. A must try if you see it.

The beer comes in a clear gold yellow color.
The aroma has light citrus, grapefruit.
The flavor follows, but with a lot of white grape and white wine notes. This is my first single hop Nelson and it's really interesting and refreshing. There's maybe a hint of the rye in the back, but also a pine bitterness.
A really easy drinking beer. The light malt backbone really works well with the grape notes from the Nelson. A surprising beer for how interesting it is.
