Freshie Growler filled at the brewery. Gotta love fresh and local high quality growler fills!
Pours medium apricot, lightly hazed, quality look to the retententive fluffy head, tiny bubble film and leaves ungodly amounts of fine sheeting and lace, from the collar to damn near the top of the glass. Nice looking brew.
Floral and tropical fruity hop nose. Yum
Nose carries through onto the palate with more tropical fruity goodness. Waves of satisfying hoppyness, but not at all bitter. Simply delicious IPA, with fresh hop notes that will tantilize the senses and put a smile on the face of good beer lovers.
Something real good is going on at Peekskill brewery as they settle into their new brew house and begin to put out more highly enjoyable brews like this one.
Glad I got an extra growler!

Served on tap at the brewery.
A: A golden orange with an inch of head
S: Citrus, some floral, grapefruit orange. Hops, hops and hops. I can't believe this is brewed in NY.
T: The taste pretty much follows up the smell. A citrus delight.
M: Carbonation is moderate
O: An absolute hop bomb. Easily one of the best IPAs I have ever had. This is right up there with the best of them. It's such a hop monster it seems more like a double.

On tap at the brewery.
Clear, shiny yellow pour. 1 inch head, visible carbonation.
Smells like it was brewed with Citra. Dank citrus fruits all up in my nose.
Tastes include orange, pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, slight cattiness, flowers. The flavors could be slightly more pronounced, possibly. Low bitterness.
Medium all around for the mouthfeel- medium carbonation, body, and drinkability.
A very tasty hoppy beer, but Amazeballs and Higher Standard beat it out, IMO.

On-tap at The Jeffrey, New York, NY
A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down but consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: Moderately strong aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is very citrusy and has associated flavors of oranges and grapefruits along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very citrusy but is easy to drink because it doesn't have the strong bitterness commonly associated with other IPAs that have this type of flavor profile.
