"We have standards and double standards…Citra and Simcoe hops shine. Tropical Fruit on the nose and a medium body with plenty for the hops lovers" PB's blurb

Growler filed at the brewery yesterday

A- Bronzed golden lighter amber. Hazed under an eggshell clingy head, that stays. Thicker, film, high collar and then nice looking and fine webs and fields of lace up and down the glass.

S - Orange, grapefruit and a touch of lime

T- snappy n citric, with more of the above. Heavy orange notes, ginger, more lime and some of the cat piss notes that citra hops seem to provide.

M- Zesty n crisp

O- Very enjoyable. Bright and tasty IPA. Went better then well with some spicy thai noodles and grilled chicken. (722 characters)

On draft at the brewery.

Poured a sparkling light brassy hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured fresh and vibrant pine and citrus notes.

The taste consisted of clean structured pine and citrus notes, which rested atop a light grainy malt.

The mouthfeel was understandably lighter with a pleasant carbonation.

Overall a flavorful small IPA with superior drinkability. (428 characters)

On tap at Peekskill.

This was easily the best brew I had during my visit to Peekskill, which is strange considering the weakness of the other two Standard IPAs.

Pale yellow pour, cloudy, not too different in appearance from the Eastern Standard, topped with a foamy white head; good retention and a bit of lacing on the glass. Pine needles and lemon in the nose, light biscuity malts. Though light on the palate, there was a lot of good, fresh flavor in this beer (again, made me wonder how this could be related to the other two), lemony and bright, with a grainy malt backdrop. This is what a session IPA is supposed to be. Light-medium body, crisp and clean, overall quite enjoyable. (688 characters)
