On draft at The Ginger Man, NYC.

Poured a deep black hue with a one finger foamy off white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured soft roasted malts and a touch of rye spice.

The taste offered a dry charcoal and a full rye spice.

The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side if the style.

Overall a very tasty rye driven dry stout.

This beer comes in a black color with a creamy light brown head.

The aroma has dark chocolate and roasty malts. Very sweet.

The flavor follows with a rich body of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and some deep roasted coffee.

On the end, there is a good amount of drying with almost a smoke flavor.

This beer has a wonderful mouthfeel from the oatmeal, that spice on the back from the rye, and then just tons and tons of chocolate and coffee flavor for a 5% beer.

I really like this beer.

Dark and roasty, everything that I want in an Stout. Rich roasted flavor with hints of chocolate, coffee and a nice spice note from the rye.

It has an almost American Stout character that I absolutely love. There is this tobacco dank roasted flavor that makes me happy.
