Double hopped pale ale 7 percent - 20 oz shaker. The beer is a chill hazed bronze with a soapy beige head.

Nice citrus/pine nose with some underlying grain. The hops are in your face.

The taste leads with some bracing pine based bitterness. The hops are front and center but they are reigned in a bit by some sweet malt mid glass.

The mouth is slightly oily and coating. Easy drinker as there is no hint of the 7 %. Well done and my favorite beer I've sampled here.

had on tap at the brewery and took a growler home.
A - light golden yellow, with a tint of orange. Pours a nice head with some lacing. Not a thick run down the glass the whole time, but some lacing for most of the glass
S - I tried and tried, not an over aromatic beer. The smell that you do get is a faint citrus, hard to tell what kind.
T - solid on the front of the pallet, but seems to need a finishing note. Solid flavors throughout, just not one that stands out on its own. Decent flavor of citrus with a little bite of hops, like a little bit more of a malt flavor that was not present.
M - not a bad feel, not a great one. Easy to drink which I can attribute a little bit to the mouth feel. Just not overly impressive
O - I believe the price ($6) pitchers on Tues/Thurs will have me drinking this often. Will probably drink this beer often due to this price, not because its a great beer.

Slightly hazed golden yellow color with a medium off-white head thats fluffy and a bit crusty, lots of intricate lacing in webby strings. Aroma is quite hoppy, good citrusyness and pineyness mixing to bring a sweet grassy and floral aspect together with some soft but warming caramel malts. Taste is along the lines from the smell, hops, and good amounts of them. Citrusy, clean, soft but very present bitterness lending some pineyness, floral and resiny, quite fresh with a major warming feel hitting late. This maybe high in ABV, but I'm not sure, the listings for the ABV were not available, but I think it may be close to 8% cuz this sucker hit with some big warmth late. Great soft, clean, full feel throughout, smooth and pleasingly bittered. This was a nice treat and a nice surprise as well. The thing that was great about these guys is they were the only ones filling the sample glasses to the top, and serving them back to you with a big smile.

Sampled at Winterfest in St. Paul 2004
