Good flavor with color and taste. I prefer more hoppy flavor and bitter.
I love the variety of beers but this by far my favorite Granite City beer!

Batch 1000 pours a Cooper color, little head. aro hoppy yet sweet. Flavor, is full, nice hop note, light but on the sweeter side. Good body and sweeter. Overall lighter but good IPA.

Taste: big lemon citrus notes, herbal, Piney hop bite warming finish. Bold lemon perfume, dry hop nose. Gold/Amber hue, clear, with white delicate head and lace. Medium to full body. Lemon zest but not quite my taste. 76 IBUs

The appearance is a orange/brown colored body with a one finger white foamy head that dies within thirty seconds, a moderate amount of lacing is left. The aroma - well, its definitely a malt forward DIPA, strong all the way through, hops barely play any sort of balance. The taste is mainly sweet through the malts, sweet aftertaste, dry sticky finish. On the palate, she sits about a medium, maybe sessionable - perhaps, carbonation seems a bit undercarbonated for the style, but pretty good to me as it leads to a very smooth texture, ABV is not felt. Overall, the world is flooded by DIPA's so with this one, well, I really don't see much of a need to re-visit.
