Why? Because it was taking up room in my Dad's refrigerator for a couple of years. It's only one 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a clear pint glass. The color is halfway between then standard mass produced American lagers and Yuengling's own lager, which is always a darker amber than most. No points for the head nor lacing. There's no smell to report, which is marginally better than a bad one. It's lighter on the tongue than most common brews, but it brings little corresponding extra taste. Good that the little is hoppy. Whatever replaces it in the box will likely be an improvement.

A shame Yuengling got rid of this for it's Golden Pils.

It's a very god and cheap summertime brew, prolly one of yuenglings better brews in my opinion. If you had this and a hefy side by side it would be really heard to tell the diff. Good job yuengling on this brew.

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a weizen glass
This beer pours surprisingly clear. I looked in the bottle to see a layer of sediment adhering to the bottom. The liquid is golden in color and topped with an inch of creamy, white head that leaves no lacing.
It has a refreshing banana and clove aroma.
The taste is banana and clove as well. It has somewhat of a dry finish.
Medium mouthfeel.
I picked up a 6 pack for $3.50. I can't complain. It was worth that price.

Pours a very hazy rich yellow color into a glass with a good head which dissipates rather quickly. The smell is definitely clove and banana. Initiial flavor is definitely overwhelmingly clove and banana as well, with a smooth banana finish. Very drinkable. Virtually no lacing to speak of. The feel is silky smooth and Overall I think that this is one of my favorite wheat brews for 2 reasons, the burst of in your face flavor and I can actually find it at some convenience stores when you can't find much else..

Bottled on 4/14/17, poured on 7/1/17
L: Hazy yellow amber. Weak head and spotty lacing.
S: Banana nut bread with a touch of all spice.
T: Matches the smell but it's not super flavorful.
F: A little too fizzy for my tastes but not horribly so. Light to medium.
O: I really wish the banana and spice were more prevalent. Had one last year and was really excited to find a 6pk but these aren't nearly as good as I remembered, but they are super cheap.
