The color is a nice amber, and it had a nice clean head, which quickly diminished.

The aroma is pretty good, lots of yeast and actually smells a decent bit like cornbread.

The taste is nice and clean, but pretty standard lager. A bit tart at first but diminishes into a nice cornbread. While the finish is clean but rather short lived.

Drinkability as always for this beer is quite impeccable.

Pours a nice looking copper color with a white head that dissipates fairly quickly, leaving a small amount of lacing.

Quite a bit of malt in the smell, also yeast and a bit of bread.

Starts out malty and bread like, maybe more of a biscuit flavor than bread. Has a hint of pine and floral from the hops at the finish.

Decent feel, nothing really stands out as bad or good.

I was given a few bottles of this, but research says this in an inexpensive beer. Assuming that to be true, for the price, this is a decent beer. Nothing that is going to outdo the really nice craft beers, but an easy drinking, and fairly flavorful beer. It just tries to be a decent easy to drink beer at a good price, and it succeeds in meeting that goal.

Appearance: moderate carbonation, minimal head, clear, caramel in color

Smell: fresh toasted malt

Taste: toasted malt and bread

Mouthfeel: sweet, light body, moderate carbonation

Overall: Very clean and tasty. Had this on tap and it was a lot better than I remembered. I will try it from a bottle or can and if it still holds up, I may have this as a regular affordable beer.

Yuengling is my favorite Marco brewed larger so far. I've had in both in the bottle and poured into glasses. It only produces a small head when poured. The appearance is light in color, and it has a good mouthfeel and taste. This is the beer you will see me drink most often. A winner in my book.

Yuengling Traditional Lager 6pk bottles $5.99(OH)

12 oz dark green bottle poured into a stemless white wine glass. No freshness date look up the bottling or can codes on freshbeeronly.

Pours a nice amber color. Put a little air between the bottle and the glass, and she leaves three fingers of creamy white head that stays around for awhile. Tons of silky small bubbles are pushed into the glass by the head. Gives way to decent lacing.

The aroma is malty upfront, then a light floral aroma. Followed by an adjunct smell of corn.

The taste is a strong malted backbone, light floral hoppy notes towards the middle. Finishes smooth and clean with hardly any adjunct taste. I taste no corny or ricey flavors. It is adjunct but it hides well in the taste.

Mouth feel is smooth, crisp and clean. Light bodied and easy drinking. A nice coppery feel that is pleasing to the palate.

Overall this brew is great, for what it is. It's the best tasting adjunct brew to date. When Yuengling first started distributing in OH I was all over it. A great cheap brew that makes A-B and M-C taste like rice and corn. I buy it all the time, my favorite mass produced domestic brew so to speak. Are there better beers? YES. but not for this price. A-B and M-C six packs go for $6.29 in my area. Easy decision.
