Paid $16.99 for a case...
The appearence is nothing to be impressed, it's about as black as a porter with a lighter head than a porter, small head, retains very little and no true lacing, not too impressive in this department. The aroma is alright, I guess, touches of malt in the smell, nothing distinct, but still ok.
The taste is mellow to best describe it, it's truly a solid hybrid of their porter and premium beer, I kind of wonder the taste of their porter meets lager, if that's better off. Either way, I still like the taste, good almost micro taste. The M&D are good, A nice easy-going beer in the mouth and the Yuengling name could single handedly define a session beer, so I like the drinkability of it.
Final Thought: For the price of this stuff it's hard to beat, especially for a rare style of beer like the Black & Tan...
