Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Grading for the style.

A: Dark gold, almost copper in color. Yields a one finger, creamy, white head. Some but not much lacing.

S: Bready malts. A little bit of sweet adjunct funk.

T: Malts. Primarily bready with an earthy finish. Not much from hops here. More flavor than most light lagers.

M: Relatively light and watery but with more body than most light lagers with moderate carbonation.

O: Not a bad beer for a light lager. I like it better than the offerings from the big three but it still is not something I will be stocking in the fridge any time soon. (606 characters)

The least offensive light beer on the market (in my opinion of course). (71 characters)

Appearance- Amber/copper in color with a two to three finger width head.

Aroma- Caramel sweetness, grains, and a slight spicy hop note.

Taste- Bland caramel malt sweetness at first followed by a snap of carbonation and spicy (very mild) hops. The finish continues wit the bland malt flavors and no hops.

Feel- Light bodied, medium/high carbonation, and generally crisp and clean in the finish.

Overall- Pretty bland, but no offensive flavors and it gets the job done. A better option than most light lagers, but better options exist for session beers. (557 characters)

Yuengling Light Lager 3.4% alcohol tall boy 24oz. can poured into a German Pokel.

A- Pours a light amber colored fluid with nice quarter inch white head that leaves decent lacing up and down.

S- Scents of metallic corn, husky malts, and a dose of sweetness.

T-M- Taste is mostly a lightly sweet malt with watered down corn and a touch of thin hops. Mouthfeel is smooth as water but nothing but a carbonated drink for a hot day not horrible but not the best drinkablity.

Just ok with a no frills design. (506 characters)

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The label has no other info.

Appearance: The body is a very clear golden yellow color with a tall white head on top from an aggressive pour. This head is loosely packed and fades out quickly leaving nothing behind.

Smell: Its aroma is a basic mix of light cereal grain, hay and touch of hops. The hops have a grassy and slightly citrusy character.

Taste/Palate: Following up on the aroma I get a light mix of dry cereal grain with a thin grassy and citrusy hop acidity and bitterness. This comes on a light palate with moderate fizzy carbonation.

Notes: Overall it's an average light beer with no real flaws for its style. Its light on everything and easy to drink. (744 characters)

I am disappointed with this beer because I love the regular lager that they make. This was far worse than the regular lager. I like the look and color a lot. There was no head but it was a beautiful colored beer. Other than the look, the beer stunk. The task is very bitter. I rather drink a Milwaukee's Best Ice to be honest. The feeling was even worse than the taste. The beer finished leaving your mouth very dry and bitter feeling. I had bout a case of this thinking it would be great like the regular lager but with less calories. I was very wrong and it was a total waste of money. (587 characters)

12 oz bottle pours a clear, medium gold body with a one finger offwhite head that quickly dwindles to a thin wisp of collar. Aroma is nearly void, so I can't rate it as awful. Some faint grainess is barely noticed. Mouthfeel is very light bodied, with lots of crisp carbonation. Taste is watery and fizzy. Slight notes of caramel malt are easily balanced by subdued hops bitterness. Clean finish and aftertaste make this a decent "lawnmower" beer, but I don't see any point in trying this one again. (499 characters)

Appearance: copper in color, 1 inch head, clear, high carbonation

Smell: toasted malt and sugar

Taste: toasted malt, light caramel, and sugar

Mouthfeel: light bodied, medium-high carbonation, sweet

Overall: For the style, this is surprisingly awesome and would be one that I would turn to if I wanted a light beer. Plenty of flavor, unlike a lot of the beers in this style which seem to be either sugared up and/or watered down. I think I like this better than regular Yuengling. A lot better than I remember it being. (522 characters)

Had one of these tonight because thats whats in ma fridgerator haha. Fairly lackluster appearance , pale, small head. Not much in the nose- some faint grain and also faint sweetness. Flavor is better than most light bmc's but thats not saying much. There is a bite of raw grain in the back , bit of corny sweetness balanced by a touch of bitterness in the finish. Well, it goes down with more ease than bud light or mich ultra, but im just not much of a "light beer" guy. Basicially a watered down version of the original Yuengling Lager. (538 characters)
