Short shelf-life beer manufactured in a small traditional brewery without any preservants, just from clear natural ingredients and clear mountain spring water.

A: Poured from a 0.5 L bottle into a standard pilsner glass. The body is clear, pale yellow with an averagely persistent and not too creamy white head.

S: Very weak but pleasant hint of hops.

T: Smooth, elegant cereal taste, not too sweet - somehow fruity aftertaste.

M: Light, very pleasant, clear and crisp, but not overcarbonated. Excellent and mouthfull.

O: Surprisingly fresh, clear, pleasant beer. Quality and taste may have some variations depending on a season, but it's a persistently high-quality beer.

Pours a completely clear, golden color and is topped with a medium white head. The head soon dissipates.
The aroma is quite strong - there is malty aroma and also some honey can be felt.
The taste is sweet, almost too sweet. There's some honey present. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.
Not the best beer, slightly staley, but still drinkable.

Got it from Croatia.
A - Dark golden color,almost no foam,few bubless.
S - Fruits,sweet malt.
T/M - High bitter aftertaste, some pleasant but strange fruit aroma, can't say what it is. Very drinkable, full body, almost as some IPA beer.
O - Very decent beer, could drink it often.

Clear golden pour, small white head, short lived.
Smells better than the average, some nice and bitter hops, faint yellow apple.
Taste starts with sweet malts, again the nice cereal taste like the Tamno Pivo, bit of toastiness, followed fast by dry grassy bitterness until the finish. Some mild fruitiness throughout, faint floral notes too.
Smooth light body, medium carbonation. Aftertaste is mostly bitter.
Nice beer, tho it has some off "homemade" notes.

While in Zagreb, I was on a quest to try as many different local beers as possible. I saw some people drinking this beer at one cafe, but I didn't see it again on any menus again until our last afternoon. I found it at a bar in the Old Town, right near an internet cafe. Poured into a pint glass. Looked like an average lager, yellow in color, lots of carbonation, little head. Smell was unnoticeable. Taste was actually a bit above average though. I tried a few really nasty lagers while traveling, but this one stood out a bit. Had a well balanced flavor to it. I am assuming that since it's a smaller brewery, that might explain the better than average quality. If you happen to see it, give this relatively new beer on the Croatian market a try.
