This place is interesting.. I've been here a few times and it's always fun and totally random. They only have a few beers, but what they do have is really great. The food is excellent.. until Domku, the only Swedish Meatballs I had ever tried was at IKEA and Domku blew my mind! They were fantastic. They have a lot of other traditional Swedish dishes, and a nice selection of what I think is homemade Aquavit. Tried the dill kind, it was interesting - would have made a great martini, with little pickes in it. There's also a nice pool table towards the back that you can play with quarters.. fun!

Domku is a great place that has the atmosphere of a little neighborhood place everyone wishes they had in their neighborhood. The seating arrangement is very open much like a coffee shop with a central bar. It isn't dark and there isn't music. It is also rarely crowded.

The food is fantastic and relatively cheap for the area. The menu, going along with the Scandinavian theme of the restaurant, carries numerous ethnic favorites from the Northern and Eastern Europe regions. Everything I have had is great.

The bottle selection is similar with beers from Latvia, Lithuania, Czechslovakia, and Ukraine. There were at least two Baltic Porters which is a style I love. On draft they have a seasonal rotation which changes often. When I was there they had Ommegang Hennepin, Rogue Dead Guy, and a Czech lager.

This place is defintely worth checking out if you want something off the beaten path, for a cheap date, or enjoy ethnic food and beer.
