Sadly I guess this place is closing later this spring. Too bad as they have a fantastic selection of beer and mead, including Schramms. Beers were nicely laid out, and easy to browse. Prices were reasonable.

Very nice selection. Decent pricing, not perfect, but decent. Very well categorized by brewery location and/or bottle size, so it's easy to browse through everything without feeling lost, and also fairly easy to go straight after what you're looking for.
It's one of the better places to buy craft beer in the Columbus area that I've been to.

The best selection in the area. Service is good but it depends on individual taste. The atmosphere is basically a grocery store with a gigantic selection. Prices are reasonable but hard to compare since they have such a large selection. The NW Columbus location has a much larger refrigerated section.

This place has an amazing beer selection. Obviously, it is a grocery store, so there's nothing special to see. However, if you are looking for good beer at good prices, then this is a must visit.

My go-to beer and wine destination whenever I'm back home. The "vibe" is nothing special, but I have always found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. On my last visit, I was able to pick up three of the beers on my want list (BP Sculpin, Sorachi Ace, & DFH Palo Santo Marron) on one brief trip down the singles aisle. I could spend hours just browsing here. (And I have.)

Best selection in Columbus! An entire aisle of individual bottles for sale, ands-down the most helpful staff, and the largest selection of bombers and six-packs I've ever seen. Also features a bar with nearly daily sampling.

This is my most frequented beer destination in the Columbus area. The selection is second to none in the area. Service can be hit or miss. Some employees are very knowledgeable about craft beer while others are lacking and more familiar with wine. The atmosphere is nothing special. After all, it is just a department store of sorts. Prices are reasonable and generally fall in line with other retailers; however, many of their 12oz singles are marked up significantly.

My favorite store in Columbus. The selection is incredible, and they always have great beers like Wulver, Backwoods, a bunch of Jackie O's, and a huge selection of Hoppin Frog. They have vintage J.W. Lees almost every time, and a great selection of craft beer from around the country and beyond. Service is good, and the vibe is fine. Selection rocks.

This is a beer drinker's heaven. The largest selection of craft and imported beers, IMHO, of any store in the Columbus area. Competitive pricing and a huge array of bottles available is singles. Can't believe it has taken me this ling to wander over to their store. Three thumbs up ;-)

The Andersons was excellent. The atmosphere of the beer aisles (where I was hanging out) was just fine, there was a wine/cheese sampling going on... folks were casually perusing the aisles. While I wasn't checking around for dates/etc, all of the items I purchased were fresh (although the Bell's Expedition I picked up was about a year old, which is excellent). Several employees in the beer/wine section guiding patrons to their beers, and one particularly knowledgeable employee running about like a madman helping folks make their selections. I was asked several times if I needed a hand/etc. As far as I have heard, if it is distributed in OH then it is at The Andersons. Wonderful selection. Prices were on par with most I have seen.

Andersons General Store
Not very close to me and can be a real treat to visit when I'm in the area. I'll keep this review short and sweet . . . Bottom line is this . . . If it is distributed to Ohio and meets the 12% law currently on the books Andersons has it. Period !
I was seriously blown away by the selection of beer. By far the best central Ohio has to offer at the time of this review.
I won't go into what beers you'll find because like I said before . . . If it's distributed to Ohio then Andersons has it.
Only bummer was they had such a great selection of ipa's that some of the really hard to find stuff was out dated . . . Yes, hard to find, rare ipa's just sittin there covered in dust.
Check em' out.
