Poured into a pint glass and developed a nice full, creamy off white head which lasted and laced well. Aroma was bready and sweet with caramel notes. Appearance was a very nice honey, amber color with a hazy hue. Taste had a strong toffee note with hints of spruce and caramel. mouthfeel was full and slightly buttery. Aftertaste was dry and a bit hoppy.

A - Pours with a small head of off-white foam on top of a lightly hazy, amber-brown body. The foam settles quickly and leaves decent lace on the glass.
S - An aroma of caramel, toffee, and some pine hop notes.
T - Toffee and toasted malt up front with some tart grainy notes. Musty pine hops come out in the middle with a finish of old hops, moderate bitterness, and lingering semi sour brown malt.
M - Medium body, moderately low carbonation, and a slightly sweet finish.
D - The aroma is relatively promising, but the flavor is bland and muddy with a poor finish. Just not something that inspires me to want another.

Reviewed from notes.
Poured out a murky brownish-amber with a flash head and some minor lacing curtains around the edges. Medium body and medium-low levels of carbonation.
Smells mostly of tea-like herbal hopping over a standard sweet caramel malt and just a small amount of citrus peel, tastes of the same but also has a horrid metallic, acrid chalky finish that sticks around in the mouth like an unwanted party guest that just won't leave.
I can't really recommend this one.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass
A: Poured a murky amber, with a good finger and a 1/2 worth of head that settles to a thin layer with lots of wonderful lacing from start to finish.
S: This one starts out with the normal Red Ale smells... Sweet malt, with a touch of caramel, toffee and a little hint of biscuits. Then there is a pretty strong amount of citrus hops floating around... Smells different but very good.
T: Start with the basic Red Ale style... Sweet caramel malt with a little toffee mixed in... then the hops really kick in and over takes some of the malt. Aftertaste still carries the hoppiness.
M: Medium body, smooth, a little low on carbonation. ABV is pretty well hidden.
O: Not a bad beer at all, just a little different twist to the Red Ale than I was expecting, worth looking for.

22oz bomber. No date.
A - Very slightly hazy pure, bright amber with moderate, quickly falling white head. Moderate carbonation is apparent.
S - Very faint aroma. Subtle caramel with very apricot esters.
T - Strong initial caramel and apricot yields to deeper toffee and brown sugar. Finish is relatively sweet for a west coast beer. Slight roasty note at the end.
M - Medium body with medium-high carbonation.
O - A good red beer; could be a bit fresher.
